Oblique  Forms of  Nouns (Nouns with Postpositions)

Singular: आ- ending masculine noun changes into ए before a postposition (exceptions in the आ- ending masculine noun plural rule do not apply, such as चाचा को, राजा को, पिता से). All the other masculine and feminine  singular nouns do not change.

मकान + कोमकान कोto the house
makaan + komakaan ko
लड़की + कोलड़की को to the girl
laRkii + kolaRkii ko
बहन + कोबहन को  to the sister
behen + kobehen ko
आदमी + कोआदमी कोto the man
aadmii + koaadmii ko
माता + कोमाता को to the mother
maataa + komaataa ko


Plural: ओं is attached to all masculine and feminine plural nouns for oblique forms.

मकान (pl.) + कोमकानों कोto the houses
makaan + komakaanoN ko
लड़कियाँ + कोलड़कियों कोto the girls

आदमी (pl.) + कोआदमियों कोto the men
aadmii + koaadmiyoN ko
माताएँ + कोमाताओं को to the mothers
